Healthcare

On Freedomizer Radio, from 9-10 a.m. Pacific Time, I devote my radio time to sharing an area of expertise that I had deliberately suppressed - my nursing experiences.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Nursing in 2000 and was an RN for nearly 10 years, mostly as a contract nurse.  Contract nursing gave me extraordinary freedoms to "bust" bad doctors!  And now that I deliberately burned my "RN Bridge," I have even more freedom to bust bad hospitals, bad nurses, bad policies, and bad  bureaucrats.

On September 20, 2013, NPR.org published an article titled, "How Many Die From Medical Mistakes In U.S. Hospitals?" Here's an excerpt:
Now comes a study in the current issue of the Journal of Patient Safety that says the numbers may be much higher — between 210,000 and 440,000 patients each year who go to the hospital for care suffer some type of preventable harm that contributes to their death. That would make medical errors the third-leading cause of death in America, behind heart disease, which is the first, and cancer, which is second.
My "Roaring for Healthcare" radio show is to expose the hazards of hospitals and clinics - and to advise on how to get the most out of an utterly broken healthcare system!

9/18/2013 - Debut Roaring for Healthcare Show.

Debut Roaring for Healthcare Show on Freedomizer Radio.  In my debut Healthcare-focused radio show, I read parts of my testimony to Nevada Lawmakers about the utterly horrific hospital conditions.  What came of this testimony?  ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!  But in retrospect, that's a good thing.  Click to see: Nevada Nursing Care Testimony.
